Bloomberg's Supply Chain business is a dynamic global organization, providing support to our internal and external customers through Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Warehousing, operating out of 22 global locations and distributing our equipment to over 190 countries. We work hand-in-hand with our businesses to support them in achieving success and maintaining efficiency. We plan, distribute and manage the returns of the goods and services that Bloomberg needs to do business. We pride ourselves on being subject matter authorities.
Bloomberg's Supply Chain department is seeking a Technology Product Owner to be part of our team. You will bring your creative thinking, knowledge of industry practices, and innovation to support Supply Chain projects and end-to-end processes. You have outstanding interpersonal skills to partner with senior leaders to design and deliver solutions, continuously improve the operation, and ensure that Bloomberg's technology & processes run flawlessly. You can govern complex projects and drive outcomes through enterprise-wide engagement with key stakeholders, business leads, technology, and other Product Owners.
We will trust you to:
• Translate business requirements and strategies into a meaningful technology product evolution roadmap.
• Take ownership of backlog prioritization for the technology Scrum team, so deliverables are aligned with stakeholders' expectations.
• Work with logistics, quality, warehouse operations, hardware asset management, and trade compliance leaders to analyze the needs and align the supply chain product roadmap to strategic goals.
• Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes, solutions, data, integration points, and dependencies.
• Solve problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analysis to meet business deliverable commitments.
• Act as an ambassador, represent supply chain capabilities, and be the primary contact for queries related to the product.
• Operate to the highest standards of accountability.
• Take a "hands-on" approach to deliver and drive change.
• Leverage a data-driven approach to monitor results, tackle problems directly, and promote solutions.
• Cultivate an active network of relationships to drive alignment across internal functions and business units and facilitate collaboration across departmental boundaries.
You'll need to have:
• 5 + years of demonstrated experience supporting Supply Chain processes and system implementations.
• Experience working on Agile Scrum teams, preferably with Product Owner and/or Project Management Certification.
• Proven success at communicating, prioritizing, and balancing cross-functional stakeholders' needs.
• Experience with SAP MM / SD applied in a technology landscape with multiple integrations through API's.
• Strong analytical abilities with a passion for data and evidence-based decision-making
• Ability to build positive relationships and manage change across functions within a large organization.
• Business acumen with process design, workflow optimization, product development, and operations.
• Ability to combine human stories and needs with hard data to identify a compelling path forward.
• Ability to work in diverse cultures and comfortable with non-hierarchical organizations.
• Flexibility, being an outstanding teammate, and learning in a fast-paced environment.
